An oasis is a fertile stop in the desert, where water is found. It is one of the world’s phenomena created by a cooling effect caused by vegetation where greenery flourishes unexpectedly from the dried landscapes. The presence of a desert oasis is symbolism of a haven of sustenance, alleviating one’s worries and fears to a sense of tranquility and calm.

The elements and principles used throughout the editorial all work together to create a clean narrative. By using rounded edges and tactile curves, contrasting with strong lines and textured forms compliments the ‘Oasis’ theme. Tranquility is associated with the soft off-white, sand and grey colours of the palette with a hint of a new life pale green, through the gentleness the palette has to the eye.
